Registration for the Spring 2024 Semester is now open.
The X• Academy Co-Op is able to provide free, high quality learning experiences to over 100 kids each semester due to the generous support of families and local organizations.
Help us make this Co-Op experience even more rewarding by making a contribution today.
Our no cost Co-Op classes are taught by volunteer real world professionals who teach through hands on learning experiences. These classes are designed to supplement the core academic subjects that students are learning at home. Our classes introduce the students to a wide range of real world information, skills, and tools that will serve them well in the 21st century.

Hands on activities & projects to inspire creativity and innovation.

Deep dives into the lives of people who have shaped our world.

An evidence based view of the world and universe around us.

Sports and games to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

An examination of human behaviors, relationships, societal structures, self care, & personal development.

All Co-Op classes are held at our Shared Country Schoolhouse in Noodle, TX, and are open to any and all homeschooling families in the Big County(greater Abilene area) to join.

Fee's
Our Co-op class have no registration fee’s.
All costs are covered by supporters of the X• organization. If you are interested in pitching in with a donation, please check out our giving page to learn more about the needs of the program and ways you can support our mission of offering no cost, high quality academic & athletic opportunities for homeschooling families in the Big Country.
Open Registration
Our Co-Op offers open registration.
We do not have restrictions on the number of students we will accept this Spring Semester. We also do not require registration to happen before the first day of Co-Op. If you are interested in joining our classes, please sign up, then join us the next Tuesday.
Parent Volunteers
Our classes are taught and aided by parent volunteer teachers. If you are interested in teaching a class please let us know when you fill out your registration form.
In order to interact with students on behalf of the organization in any capacity all volunteers are required to have passed a background check within the past 12 months.
Commitments
Active Participation with the class is a must. Lack of participation in class activities, distracting or disruptive behavior may lead to students enrollment in the class being revoked.
The Golden Rule is the rule. All participants are asked to treat themselves, their peers, and volunteer teachers and aides with respect and kindness. Mistreatment of others will result in removal from the class.
Drop Off
K-5 classes are NOT drop off.
6-12 classes does allow drop off.
For non drop off classes we ask that you do remain on the campus during the class hours and enjoy the free WiFi, and work or lounge in our stations for parents. Drop off class parents are still welcome to stay if they prefer.
